Hojicha tea distinguish itself from the majority of the other Japanese teas because it is roasted under high temperatures in a porcelain pot placed over charcoal when usually, Japanese tea is steamed. This green Hojicha has large leaves and a remarkable nutty and caramel-like flavor. The roasting process makes it also low in caffeine which can be enjoyed throughout the day... Ideal to complete a meal.
